How can I start a flexable spending account or a spousal IRA?

Can I start a flexable spending account for my family or an spousal IRA for my wife at this point in the year, if so where would be the best place to set up such an account.

Thanks

The FSA is only if your employer offers one. These usually require you to signup in December of the prior year.

A spousal IRA, subject to income limits, can be set up at your local bank or online at say, Schwab, Fidelity, Vanguard, T Rowe Price, etc.
Reply:If your spouse qualifies for a spousal IRA, she should open the account herself. "Spousal" does not mean that you open the account on her behalf. She is the account owner.

She can go to any bank and open an IRA CD account, or any of the mutual fund companies will open an account for her.

The FSA is not an option for you unless your employer offers it.
