How would someone set up an online account to pay for songs from iTunes?

I have never downloaded songs from iTunes before, but in the near future I am planning on doing so.
How would someone set up an online account to pay for songs from iTunes?
Go onto iTunes, into the iTunes store. Go to the song you want to buy, click buy and it will just ask you to create an account, follow the instructions and vwala.
Reply:iTunes is very expensive, there are better alternatives out there.
