For direct debits etc?
My parents opened a building society account for my when i was young, i'm now 18 and it would be a lot more convenient to have a bank account.
I have a passport and some past payslips but would I need anymore ID?
What documents are needed for opening a bank account?
This should be fine. You can carry your SSN card as with you when you walk in to the bank.
