How do you open a building society account for a small club?

We are a small group of motorcyclists.

Basically, we have an annual tour in Europe.

We want to save in an account towards our trip etc.

2 persons will be nominated to be able to withdraw monies.

What do we need to do to open such an account?
How do you open a building society account for a small club?
The two of you, plus proof of ID and addresses, plus some kind of paperwork to show that the club exists. The Nationwide has a special account for this purpose.
Reply:Just contact the building society - they will explain if there are any special qualifications needed for their particular society. Take proof of identity at least 2 pieces for each person with authority over the account - driving licence, utilities, bill(s), passport. That may be all that is required. If you have a letterhead of the club that would also be useful. But basically you won't know until youhave spoken to them.
