I want to use an online bank for my business but it only allows you to open personal accounts. Is it legal to use a personal account specifically for businesses purposes and what troubles could I run into down the line.

If you are serious about running a buisness, then take a few extra steps and open a business account. This will help you seperate business and personal costs. If you have an issue with the IRS down the line (small business are auditing a lot), you are better of doing business in your business acocunts.
