How can i change my itunes account that is link to my ipod touch?

I read that to use gift cards on the app store you have to make your account with the gift card. I didnt do that, but it still works for itunes store. So how do i add another account or switch accounts? Thx in advanced!

To the first answerer, thats weird, because I can buy apps with my giftcards, but I did create my account with a gift card. To make a new account, all you have to do is buy a new gift card, and when redeeming it, choose "New account" instead of signing in.

Reply:you canonly sync the ipod with the itunes account that is on the PC to which its paired to change account you simply logout in itunes then login to another account and re-sync and it will then use that itunes acccount.





YOU can only use one itunes account at a time and need to sync in between to change the active one. on old DRM music changing from an account will cause any films and protected music to no longer play until you re-login to the account that bought them.
Reply:thats all a lie. You can redeem the gift card in the iTunes app on your ipod just open it and goto downloads and goto redeem. As for the changing the account your on you need to ( on the comp u sync the ipod with) log out of your account in the itunes store and log in with the other account you want to use and sync.
Reply:Simply open a new account (on your computer (iTunes) and Sync your iPod. Your iPod will be assigned to this account from now on.
Reply:you cant use your giftcard for App store. it wont let you. i have tried before. if you buy a mastercard giftcard that would work
